Bringing Hope to the Table

We invite our isolated neighbors to a warm table, sharing food, heartfelt conversations, and the cornerstone of hope.

The Cornerstone Story

We live in a world more connected than ever, yet paradoxically, many are enduring an era of profound loneliness. Across Atlanta, there are countless neighbors—seniors in blind spots, solitary parents bearing heavy burdens, and youths who have lost their way—who simply long for heartfelt eye contact and a warm meal shared across a table.

Cornerstone Compassion was born to bring ‘Table Fellowship’ into these deeply isolated places. We believe that our ministry is not just a relief effort that delivers food. Instead, we invite our neighbors to a warm restaurant, where our dedicated Senior Chaplains sit face-to-face with them. When we listen to their stories and hold their hands in earnest prayer, the shadows of despair retreat, giving way to peace. The name “Cornerstone” reflects our unwavering commitment to being the foundational support of love and hope for those who feel forgotten.

Our Vision

A connected community where every neighbor, regardless of how isolated they feel, experiences the miraculous healing of genuine table fellowship and finds a cornerstone for a better tomorrow.

Our Mission

To invite marginalized neighbors to a familiar restaurant, bringing them dignity and comfort through a warm meal and the profound spiritual care of our Senior Chaplains.

Cornerstone Compassion was built on the belief that a well-nourished soul and a shared meal can rebuild lives. I am deeply humbled by the dedication of our Senior Chaplains and the generosity of our supporters. Together, we are not just delivering a meal; we are establishing lifelong connections and laying down the cornerstones of a brighter, more compassionate future for our community.

Our Chaplains

The True Cornerstone: Our Senior Chaplains

The true lifeblood of Cornerstone Compassion is our dedicated network of Senior Chaplains. More than just volunteers, they are trained spiritual and emotional mentors. Sitting face-to-face across the table, maintaining genuine eye contact, and praying earnestly for our marginalized neighbors, they are the hands and feet of our table fellowship ministry.
